We’ve written about a lot of cool bikes here on Design Milk and it got us thinking that we should roundup some of those favorites along with a few other bikes we’d like to own.

Here are 12 of our favorites:

The SCHRAMM was designed by Solé Bicycle Co., which began in Los Angeles with two best friends in college looking for an affordable bike. Their bicycles are lightweight, stylish, and the company is based in Venice Beach, California. I personally love the color combo of black and hot pink on the SCHRAMM.

We’ve talked about the single-gear Hollander from MADE.com before. The classic Dutch bikes have stainless steel handlebars, a retro-style seat, headlight, AND a super fun bell that makes this bike perfect for cruising around town.

Ah, a PANTONE bike! Made by Abici Italia, they combine a simple retro frame with a leather seat and battery-powered lights, all with your choice of four PANTONE colors.

As we’ve featured before, Swedish company Bike By Me, offers a standard unisex frame and lets you customize all the features you want to your heart’s content.

Only The Brave, a single-speed urban bicycle, comes from a collaboration between Diesel and Pinarello. While it’s available in two colors, I am partial to the sleek matte black finish on this one.

Hailing from Copenhagen, Larry vs. Harry have reimagined the cargo bike into something anyone would be thrilled to ride, even when hauling a bunch of groceries home. While the Bullitt is longer than your average bike, it’s not that much wider or heavier, thanks to the hardened aluminum frame. Various accessories are available to personalize your bike for your needs.

The Type Bike, designed by Montreal-based art director Juan Madrigal (with a little help from iBike), features a white frame with black Helvetica Medium type. As a sucker for all things typographical, this bike really stood out for me, not necessarily to ride but it would be fantastic to look at.

We featured the Shocker Chopper from Team Tentakulus over two years ago, but let’s be honest, anything that resembles a chopper never really goes out of style. So if you want the look of a chopper (without the cost of gas) and want to get a little exercise, this bike’s for you!

I have a crush, an orange crush, on this Public C7 Creamcycle bike featuring a cream leather seat and leather grips. Started by Design Within Reach founder Rob Forbes, Public Bikes offers city bikers a smart and sensible-riding bike that not only looks great, but they ride great too.

If only this Write A Bike concept by Juri Zaech would come to fruition. It sure would make it harder for thieves to pull off riding around town on someone else’s bike.

iXi Bike is possibly the sleekest compact bike on the market that I’ve seen. Both visually appealing and virtually maintenance-free with its grease-free belt drive system, this collapsible bike might be the answer to anyone who has a space problem. The bike has BreakAway frame technology that lets you separate the bike into two pieces in seconds.

While not a bike, Horsey designed by Eungi Kim, is a horse-shaped accessory designed to attach to your bike. While you might not be able to ride a real horse in the Wild West, perhaps a spin with Horsey will do.
